अमावस्या को घर के कोने कोने को अच्छी तरह से साफ करें, सभी प्रकार का कबाड़ निकाल कर बेच दें। इस दिन सुबह शाम घर के मंदिर और तुलसी पर दिया अवश्य ही जलाएं इससे घर से कलह और दरिद्रता दूर रहती है । अमावस्या को गाय को पांच फल भी नियमपूर्वक खिलाने चाहिए, इससे भी घर में शुभता एवं हर्ष का वातावरण बना रहता है । अमावस्या के दिन क्रोध, हिंसा, अनैतिक कार्य, माँस, मदिरा का सेवन एवं स्त्री से शारीरिक सम्बन्ध, मैथुन कार्य आदि का निषेध बताया गया है, जीवन में स्थाई सफलता हेतु इस दिन इन सभी कार्यों से दूर रहना चाहिए । अमावस के दिन एक ब्राह्मण को भोजन अवश्य ही कराएं। इससे आपके पितर सदैव प्रसन्न रहेंगे, आपके कार्यों में अड़चने नहीं आएँगी, घर में धन की कोई भी कमी नहीं रहेंगी और आपका घर – परिवार को टोने-टोटको के अशुभ प्रभाव से भी बचा रहेगा। अमावस्या पर पितरों का तर्पण अवश्य ही करना चाहिए । शास्त्रो के अनुसार प्रत्येक अमावस्या को पित्तर अपने घर पर आते है अतः इस दिन हर व्यक्ति को यथाशक्ति उनके नाम से दान करना चाहिए। पितरों को खीर बहुत पसंद होती है इसलिए प्रत्येक माह की अमावस्या को खीर बनाकर ब्राह्मण को भोजन के साथ खिलाने पर महान पुण्य की प्राप्ति होती है, जीवन से अस्थिरताएँ दूर होती है। अमावस्या की तिथि को कोई भी नया कार्य, यात्रा, क्रय-विक्रय तथा समस्त शुभ कर्मों को निषेध कहा गया है, इसलिए इस दिन इन कार्यों को नहीं करना चाहिए। और किसी क्रांति के पहले एक वैचारिक क्रांति होती है और मैं अभी उसी वैचारिक क्रांति के लिए ही आपको प्रेरित कर रहा हूँ । वैचारिक क्रांति कैसे होगी ? वैचारिक क्रांति तब होगी जब ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोगों तक ऐसी बातें पहुंचाई जाये और मुझे उम्मीद ही नहीं पूर्ण विश्वास है कि आप इसको ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोगों तक पहुंचाएंगे । कृपया सच्चाई प्रचारित करने में सहयोग करें । आपका बहुत आभारी रहूँगा, कि जो बातें मैंने आपसे कही हैं, इनको आप हमेशा हृदयांगम करके रखेंगे, इनको अपनी समझ में रखेंगे, अपने दिमाग में रखेंगे, बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद् ।
